Our company

  • Shore Pet Cremation provides individual — never communal — pet cremation services to families throughout Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Every pet entrusted to us is handled separately, with traceability and care from beginning to end. Your pet is always returned to you.

We believe this level of care should be standard because all pets deserve dignified, respectful end-of-life care.

From the moment a pet comes into our care, we maintain clear identification and documentation to ensure accuracy and accountability at every stage.

  • Our procedures are designed to provide:

    • Individual handling
    • Consistent identification
    • Transparent communication
    • Professional oversight

Families can expect clarity, steadiness, and compassionate care throughout the process.

  • Shore Pet Cremation was founded through Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, a longstanding funeral service provider on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

With generations of experience serving families during times of loss, Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam recognized the need for the same level of professionalism and compassion in pet aftercare. Understanding that companion animals are part of the family, Shore Pet Cremation was created to extend those same standards of care.

Grounded in funeral service experience and guided by clear standards and oversight, Shore Pet Cremation provides individually handled cremation services for companion animals, with a commitment to accountability, respect, and dignified care.
