Ice & Tank

In Loving Memory of Ice & Tank

"Forever Together, Forever Loved"

Ice - Known to all as "Nuggie," the happiest boy.
Tank - Also lovingly called "Tankers," the gentle giant.

If ever there was a dynamic duo that could turn heads and steal hearts, it was Ice and Tank.
Inseparable from the start, they tackled life’s adventures side by side—whether it was supervising
their humans at work, charming bank tellers for treats, or perfecting the art of the car ride with
heads proudly out the window, ears flapping in the wind.

Grooming days were their red-carpet moments. Bandanas became their signature look, and treats
were well-earned rewards for their “good” behavior (or at least a solid attempt at it). Despite their
size, Ice and Tank were convinced they were lap dogs, squeezing themselves into spaces they had
no business being in for face smooshes, ear rubs, endless cuddles and kisses. Ice never met a deer
antler he couldn’t conquer, and Tank had an inexplicable love for balloons—an odd couple in every
delightful way.

Ice’s final moments came on October 31, 2022, when he took one last car ride with his Mammie.
True to form, he went out as the happiest boy. Tank, being the loyal sidekick that he was, couldn’t
stand being without his best buddy. On June 23, 2023, his heart led him to reunite with Ice,
undoubtedly greeted at the Rainbow Bridge with wagging tails and shared mischief.
Though they’re no longer here to smoosh faces or commandeer laps, Ice and Tank’s antics, love,
and bond will forever live on in the hearts of those lucky enough to know them. Rest easy, sweet
boys—together, always.
